A Gold Snake Cuff

Crafted from the client’s own unworn jewellery, this bespoke snake cuff transformed a collection of sentimental pieces into a striking new design. Existing gold and diamonds were carefully recycled into the bracelet, while vivid green tsavorite garnets were sourced to bring the snake’s eyes to life. Hand fabricated, engraved and stone set in our workshop, the finished piece required more than 24 hours at the bench.

Design Development & Brief

The client wanted to create something completely different from a collection of jewellery that was no longer being worn. Rather than leaving those pieces in a drawer, we worked together to transform their gold and diamonds into a contemporary snake-inspired cuff. Green tsavorite garnets were selected for the eyes, creating a vivid focal point and bringing character to the design.

Inside the Workshop

Every stage of this project was completed by hand. The client's existing jewellery was melted down and refined before being fabricated into the snake form. Individual diamond settings were created, the surface was hand engraved to mimic scales, and the tsavorite garnets were carefully set to complete the piece. The result is a one-of-a-kind bracelet that carries both craftsmanship and personal history.
